Christie's RGBH Duo Debuts: Transforming Small and Medium Cinema Screening.

2025-12-10

Christie will unveil two new RGBH projectors—the CP4415m-RGBH and CP4420m-RGBH—at the CineAsia exhibition in Bangkok. These projectors represent a new era of efficient and flexible projection technology, providing a cost-effective upgrade solution for small and medium-sized screens worldwide.

Both models feature a 0.98-inch 4K SST DMD chip, delivering exceptional picture quality with ultra-high-definition resolution that captures intricate details and textures. Enhanced by Christie's CineLife+™ platform, they offer superior image processing and color calibration for optimal viewing.

The new Phazer™ hybrid laser light source technology enables the CP4415m-RGBH to reach 15,000 lumens and the CP4420m-RGBH 20,000 lumens. This ensures bright images on medium-sized screens, addressing dimness issues found in traditional projectors. Additionally, the projectors utilize RGB pure laser and phosphor dual-light source technology, allowing users to switch between light source modes for various content types, optimizing both color performance and energy consumption.

Christie's two new products highlight a commitment to making technological upgrades more accessible and reducing operating costs for cinemas. The new models are fully compatible with existing lenses and accessories, minimizing upfront investment and appealing particularly to small and medium-sized cinemas. They also showcase significant energy efficiency, being three times more efficient than traditional lamp projectors, which lowers electricity costs and carbon emissions, supporting sustainable operations.

Designed with user needs in mind, these models operate at noise levels below 47 decibels, ensuring an immersive viewing experience. Their compact design allows easy integration into various settings, from traditional cinemas to mobile environments, enhancing flexibility for diverse screening needs—from high-end viewings to innovative entertainment spaces. Christie's RGBH projectors can thus cater to an array of scenarios, expanding the possibilities for film screenings.

Christie's new light source systems are optimized for professional applications, particularly in post-production and screening rooms where accurate color reproduction and stable performance are essential. The high-precision color calibration of the CP4415m-RGBH and CP4420m-RGBH provides creators with a near-final projection preview, enhancing quality control and production efficiency.

In mobile settings like mobile theaters, these products are designed for portability and ease of use, allowing even non-professionals to achieve smooth projections quickly. As a leader in audiovisual solutions, Christie's launch of these RGBH products meets the needs of small and medium-sized cinemas facing competition from larger chains. By combining high quality, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness, Christie's solutions help these cinemas enhance the viewing experience while controlling operating costs.

The global launch of the Christie CP4415m-RGBH and CP4420m-RGBH will advance projection technology and enhance the viewing experience in small and medium-sized cinemas. These innovative products will promote the digital transformation of film, redefine cinema beyond traditional spaces, and provide versatile viewing scenarios. Christie aims to continue its commitment to innovation, offering high-quality products that cater to market needs. As a result, audiences will enjoy improved, immersive experiences, propelling the film industry forward through technology-driven enhancements.
